The stock market sure has been wild over the last week. Headlines about major market moves always make me think about where my money is invested, and what to do next.
I’ve talked to some excellent financial planners in the last few days, who are in touch with quite a few people. I thought they might be busy helping worried clients, and they all said that they only heard from a few. That’s a good sign that they have advised their clients to expect and be ready for market ups and downs, to plan accordingly, and they are weathering the storm.
I’m curious… what’s your take on the market, and what to do about it?
Is it time to refinance any real estate, while the rates are still low?
Is it time to buy or sell something? Do you want more of your wealth in a hard asset like real estate? If so, what type? Or do you want to sell something to be in a stronger financial position?
Do you have a good financial planner to advise you? If so, would you be willing to introduce us, so that I can expand my network of resources? If not, I would be happy to refer you to a good one. It’s important to get the best advice that you possibly can.
And if you want to make any real estate moves, you know who to call, right? In terms of the local real estate market, showings have been slow in the last few weeks with last-minute vacations and play, and getting the kids back in school. I expect showings and new listings to pick up now, because for anyone who wants to move this year, it’s time to get going.
Have a great weekend!
