It’s shaping up to be a good Spring market. After a slow December, as they said at Mortgage News Daily, “A Surprise in Pending Sales Kicks Off 2019.”
Lawrence Yun, the chief economist for the National Association of Realtors, said “Income is rising faster than home prices in many areas and mortgage rates look to remain steady. Furthermore, job creation will help lift home buying.”
I hope he is right, and am very glad the government shutdown is over. That had a big impact on those of us in Anne Arundel County and the Washington, DC, area.
